The key challenges such as immigration, informal trading, and rising unemployment have emerged as central concerns for greater Johannesburg in Gauteng Province. 

This is according to South Africa’s (SA) liberation movement African National Congress’s (ANC).

This came out during day one of the ANC 16th Regional Conference underway in Sandton. 

Party Spokesperson Mahlengi Bhengu says immigration will be a key focus at the party’s 5th National General Council, scheduled for next week.
