South African (SA) food producer Premier Group this Tuesday posted a 27.9% rise in half-year profit as revenue increased by 6.4%.
The maker of Blue Ribbon bread and Snowflake flour, reported a headline earnings per share, the main profit measure in SA, of 560 cents for the six months ended September 30, up from 437.6 cents a year earlier.
It declared an interim dividend of 159 cents per share.
