The 3rd Annual Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS) Champions League Community Games, founded by Nhlanhla Ledwaba, will take place at the Third Square Sports Complex in Alexandra Gauteng Province, this Wednesday.
The event is a community movement that unites sport, arts, culture, and civic engagement for a shared purpose.
It aims to raise awareness on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) and mobilise the community to take collective action.
This year’s theme is “absent fathers are architects of GBVF”, which speaks directly to the structural and social challenges that fuel violence in communities.
