NCC has announced major product recalls affecting certain Isuzu vehicles and Ducati motorcycles

South Africa’s (SA) National Consumer Commission has announced major product recalls affecting certain Isuzu vehicles and Ducati motorcycles.

The recall applies to the Isuzu RT66 vehicles sold through Isuzu Motors SA approved dealerships between July 16 and September 8 of this year.

Isuzu has indicated that the affected vehicles may pose a risk due to a poor electrical connection, which can cause the vehicle’s airbag warning light to illuminate intermittently.

In a separate announcement, the commission confirmed that Ducati SA, a division of Volkswagen SA, is also recalling a range of its motorcycles.

The recalled models include the Ducati Panigale V4 from model year 2018 up to 2024, and the Ducati V4 Streetfighter from model year 2020 to 2025.

This recall is due to potential problems with the rear wheel shaft.
