Gigaba says he will co-operate fully with the National Prosecuting Authority as he’ll appear in court today. This is in connection with alleged procurement irregularities at state-owned freight company, Transnet. The Prosecuting Authority says he will be formally charged following investigations into a multi-billion-dollar locomotive contracts. Gigaba, who was named during the State Capture Commission of Inquiry, maintains that due process guided his non-executive role in the procurement process.
