The statement comes ahead of the trial of his daughter, umKhonto weSizwe Party Member of Parliament, Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, who will appear in court today on charges linked to the July 2021 unrest.
The foundation says the case is politically motivated and part of a long-standing campaign to target Zuma and his relatives. The Foundation argues the charges stem from Zuma-Sambudla’s social media posts during the July 2021 unrest, calling them an attempt to silence dissent and criminalise free expression.
