The postponement follows Zuma’s admission in hospital.
South Africa’s (SA) Former President Jacob Zuma’s testimony before the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Cases Inquiry has been postponed to a date yet to be confirmed.
The postponement follows Zuma’s admission in hospital and was an agreement between his lawyers and the judicial commission, chaired by Justice Sisi Khampepe. Zuma was expected to appear on October 22.
His testimony was to follow that of former SA President Thabo Mbeki who will be testifying on October 19 and 20.
The commission has been tasked with investigating claims of deliberate delays and political interference in the investigation and prosecution of apartheid-era crimes.
