South Africa’s (SA) Democratic Alliance (DA) party says the City of Tshwane needs to be held accountable for the operational failure over the Bronkhorstspruit water crisis.
This after 400 people including children fell ill, with the water from the Bronkhorstspruit Treatment Works declared unfit for human consumption.
In light of this, the DA has lodged a complaint with the South African Human Rights Commission against the City.
DA Tshwane Mayoral Candidate Cilliers Brink accuses the municipality of ignoring the signs in order to make money through the deployment of water tankers.
