South Africa’s (SA) Shoprite Holdings expects to report up to a 10.2% increase in half-year profit as sales rose by 7.2%.
The country’s biggest grocery chain reported on Monday. Shoprite sells budget and upmarket food.
The company said on Monday that headline earnings per share from continuing operations are seen rising by 5.2% to 10.2% in the six months ended on December 28 from a restated 659.8 cents.
