South Africa’s (SA) Mamelodi Sundowns will take on AS FAR in the 2025/26 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League final in a two-legged showdown for Africa’s biggest club title.
The first leg will be played in Tshwane on May 17, before the return match in Rabat on May 24.
Sundowns are chasing their second continental crown after winning the title in 2016, while AS FAR are hoping to end a 41-year wait for Champions League glory since their 1985 triumph.
Patrice Motsepe has confirmed that this year’s winners will receive a record $6 million prize, a 50% increase aimed at boosting Africa’s premier club competition.
