Amid growing geopolitical tensions, Serbia says respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity remains a fundamental principle of its foreign policy, as it backs South Africa’s (SA) call for the consistent application of international law.
Serbian Ambassador to SA Sasa Mart says all countries, regardless of their size or political influence, should have equal rights under the United Nations (UN) Charter.
Speaking in an interview with Channel Africa Mart also called for broader representation in the UN Security Council.
He added that greater cooperation among countries is essential to maintaining global stability.
