This comes as the conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continues to intensify.

Recently, the RSF announced a parallel government. This is totally opposed by the army.

The conflict was triggered by a dispute over a transition to a civilian rule between the army and the RSF.

It has displaced over 12 million people and pushed half the population into acute hunger.
