The pair face several charges, including attempted murder.

The son of former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and his co-accused are expected to apply for bail at the Alexandra Magistrates Court, north of Johannesburg, in South Africa (SA) this Wednesday.

Bellarmine Mugabe and Tobias Matondze are accused of shooting a 23-year-old employee at the Mugabe residence in Hyde Park in February.

The pair face several charges, including attempted murder, possession of a firearm and ammunition, defeating the ends of justice, and theft.

The case was postponed last week due to a power outage at the court.
