The squad was finalised after a two-day training camp, with van Dyk emphasising the importance of building depth ahead of the Netball World Cup. She said the series, starting  on January 29 at Ellis Park Indoor Arena, will be the team’s final international test before the Commonwealth Games.

Netball South Africa president Mami Diale expressed full confidence in the squad, highlighting the importance of strong performances against world class opposition in front of home crowds.
