Springbok captain, Siya Kolisi, says his side will respect Italy and not fixate on getting a bonus point before the match is well won.
Springboks will play Italy on Saturday afternoon in Turin in the Nations Championship.
The Springboks need a bonus point win to put pressure on New Zealand, who play Scotland later the same day.
Kolisi stressed that Italy must be respected before any thought of a bonus point.
“First of all, it is about getting the win. If we get the lead in the game, then we can go for the bonus point. You cannot think about a bonus point before securing the win. You have to take the game as it comes and respect every team, especially because we are playing in Italy on their home ground. We know how tough it was for us to play against them last year,” says Kolisi .
