The Tanzanian Premier Soccer League (PSL)  could soon become a strong destination for PSL players, according to former Yanga and Simba Chief Executive Officer Senzo Mbatha.
His comments come as Mamelodi Sundowns players continue to make moves into East Africa, with Rushine de Reuck joining Simba on loan and Neo Maema reportedly making a permanent switch.
Speaking to the South African (SA) Football Journalists’ Association, Mbatha said Tanzania’s two biggest clubs are financially competitive and well positioned to lure more SA talent.
He added that the growing investment in the league, combined with the pull of clubs like Yanga and Simba, could see more PSL players exploring opportunities in Tanzania.
