The case against United Kingdom (UK) fugitive and multiple murders accused Ndodana Tshuma is due back in Gauteng Province’s Johannesburg Magistrates court today.
Proceedings hit a snag during the accused’s previous court appearance earlier this month after the court found that Tshuma’s plea, the state’s documentation, and the relevant provisions of the Criminal Procedure Act did not align.
Tshuma had pleaded guilty to Firearm and Firearms Control Act-related charges, including possessing an unlicensed pistol and ammunition when he was arrested in Johannesburg in June.
The case was then postponed to today to allow the state to make the necessary consultations and address the court’s concerns.
The Zimbabwean British national is wanted in the UK for the triple murder of his wife, Zandile, and their two daughters, 15-year-old Natalie and five-year-old Nala in July.
