Eleven more migrants deported by US have arrived in eSwatini
Eleven more migrants deported by United States (US) President Donald Trump administration under a policy of sending individuals to third countries, have arrived in eSwatini from the US.
Their arrival brings the total number of deportees sent to the southern African country to 29 under a $5.1-million agreement.
The deal has been challenged by lawyers, who argue that the migrants are being detained despite having already completed sentences for offences committed in the US.
The Trump administration has also sent deportees to other countries across Africa, Asia and the Americas as part of the policy.
