The fragile ceasefire between the United States (US) and Iran appears to have collapsed, with US President Donald Trump declaring the interim agreement “over” after Iran launched fresh attacks on American military bases in the Gulf.
The renewed escalation comes as Iran continues a week-long funeral procession for its late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whose body will be buried ton Thursday.
