United States (US) President Donald Trump has accused China on interfering in the 2020 elections, reigniting his long-running attacks on election security despite a US intelligence assessment that found no evidence that Beijing altered the 2020 vote which he lost.
In an address, Trump says that he was declassifying sensitive information.
This comes ahead of the upcoming November midterm elections.
The Republicans will be defending their congressional majorities and face the possibility of losing control of either one or both chambers.
