United States (US) President Donald Trump has drawn widespread criticism after saying Somali immigrants should “go back to where they came from.”
The comments come as immigration authorities are reportedly planning an operation in Minnesota, home to one of the largest Somali communities in the US.
State officials have condemned the proposed operation, cautioning that it could unintentionally affect American citizens who are of Somali descent.
