Six days after two powerful earthquakes struck north-central Venezuela, the United Nations (UN) says the emergency is far from over.
Search and rescue operations are continuing, as international teams work through the rubble in the worst-affected areas.
Head of the UN Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Venezuela, Vanessa May told UN News that families who have lost homes and loved ones will need sustained support.
She says the support will also include psychosocial care as well as food, water and shelter.
