According to Forum’s Global Gender Gap report women make up 41.2% of the global workforce, and their participation is growing in South Africa.
It is reported that globally the workforce takes around 123 years, roughly five generations to close the gender gap across education and economic participation, according to the 2025 report.
Progress is, however undeniable and irreversible.
According to Endless Life Group, an organisation focusing on health and social care service among other things, that they mentioned is that when women have become primary earners, carry an emotional and spiritual load and everything else that comes with being a financial earner.
