People in Lusaka gathered to mark the birth anniversary and legacy of Zambia’s founding President, Kenneth Kaunda.
The commemorations brought together government officials, political leaders, church representatives and members of the diplomatic corps, who attended a memorial service at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross.
The gathering was marked by prayers and reflections on Kaunda’s role in Zambia’s independence and his enduring influence on the country’s political and social development.
