Zimbabwe will welcome the 2026 edition of the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) African Schools Football Championship Continental Finals in Harare from April 2–10 .
The championship, now in its fourth year, was launched by CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe in 2021 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. A subsequent kick-off event took place in Maputo, Mozambique, later that year.
Zimbabwe has not hosted a CAF tournament for over six years. Since its inception, the programme has seen more than two million boys and girls participate across African schools, highlighting the growing impact of youth football on the continent.
