Zimbabwe Cricket has confirmed two high-profile home series against India and Australia later this year.
The reigning T20 world champions, India, are set to tour Zimbabwe in July for a three-match T20 series scheduled for the 23rd, 25th and 26th. The matches present Zimbabwe with an opportunity to bounce back after a heavy defeat to the same opponents at the recent Cricket World Cup.
India last visited Zimbabwe in 2025, and Zimbabwe Cricket Managing Director Givemore Makoni says fixtures of this calibre generate strong local interest and help grow the game.
Zimbabwe will also host Australia in September for a three-match One Day International series. All matches are set to be played at the Harare Sports Club.
The tour will mark Australia’s return to Zimbabwe for the first time since 2014. The two sides last met at the recent T20 World Cup, where Zimbabwe secured a notable victory.
