representative appears in court in Cradock Four inquest matter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This, after a brief appearance in the court this Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The SANDF was subpoenaed to appear to account for the military\u2019s refusal to fund the legal representation for the former Lieutenant General, Christoffel Pierre \u201cJoffel\u201d van der Westhuizen.<\/p>\n<p>Lekoloana said this case had been escalated to the high court in Pretoria, where the reasons for the refusal were stated.<\/p>\n<p>He says Van der Westhuizen is, however, not taking any steps to expedite the matter.<\/p>\n<p>The inquest that seeks to establish who was responsible for the murder of the Cradock Four, Matthew Goniwe, Fort Calata, Sparrow Mkhonto and Sicelo Mhlauli, remains adjourned until October
