Presidential rival Mubarak Munyagwa has proposed banning Swahili and making French an official language if elected. Commenting on the campaign, international political analyst Dr Charles Sinkala said: \u201cSuch proposals are likely to provoke significant public debate and could shape voter perceptions ahead of the polls.\u201d<\/p>\n
