She was speaking during a media briefing of the 11th Speakers\u2019 Summit in Hermanus in the Western Cape province.<\/p>\n
SA is hosting the Summit ahead of the G20 meeting in the country in November.<\/p>\n
Didiza says the national legislature has never shied away from representing the country\u2019s interests at an international level.<\/p>\n
She says, \u201cParliament actually is part of the multilateral forum. We participate with other members and that is one of the forums that allows us to influence, you to know, the international agenda, but also to share experiences with other parliamentarians globally. \u201d<\/p>\n
Didiza says, \u201cIt also enables us as part of those platforms to be part of the critical areas of interventions.
