The Parti D\u00e9mocratique Gabonais (PDG), once the backbone of the country\u2019s political system, has been relegated to a secondary role, securing only 16 seats in the new Parliament.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the results, political analyst Ga\u00ebl Koumba Ayoun\u00e9 said, \u201cThis election marks a turning point in Gabonese politics. The UDB\u2019s decisive victory not only strengthens the president\u2019s mandate but also signals a shift in the balance of power.
