However, Ntshabele has warned that the industry still faces significant challenges, including rising production costs and new trade barriers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe imposition of a 30% tariff by the United States (US) on citrus from SA had a limited impact on the industry this season, as the tariffs came into effect towards the end of the local season and shipments were fast-tracked,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe remain very worried about the impact of the 30% tariff in the coming 2026 season.
