The President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan is yet to announce her cabinet.<\/div>\n

This after the country’s Electoral Commission declared her as the winner of the Presidential elections.<\/div>\n

However, the opposition, that called for a boycott of the elections, has indicated that it will not recognise her presidency.<\/p>\n

The Electoral Commission in Tanzania declared that the Chama Cha Mapinduzi party won the recent elections with an absolute majority.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

However, the elections were marred by protests, and the opposition boycotted the polls.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0The swearing in Members of Parliament this week, will pave the way for the President to elect a cabinet.<\/div>\n

The new cabinet\u00a0is expected to\u00a0embark on a charm offensive to try and\u00a0restore\u00a0calm and stability\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0country.<\/div>\n
