{"id":23079,"date":"2026-01-29T16:44:23","date_gmt":"2026-01-29T14:44:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jhb-webdevelopers\/channelafrica\/news\/sassa-warns-beneficiaries-under-review-to-comply-or-face-suspension\/"},"modified":"2026-02-27T16:33:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T14:33:57","slug":"sassa-warns-beneficiaries-under-review-to-comply-or-face-suspension","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.channelafrica.co.za\/channelafrica\/news\/sassa-warns-beneficiaries-under-review-to-comply-or-face-suspension\/","title":{"rendered":"SASSA warns beneficiaries under review to comply or face suspension"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is urging all beneficiaries who\u2019ve been summoned for a review, to visit their nearest offices to avoid the suspension of their grants.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>These reviews are conducted to determine whether beneficiaries who\u2019ve been identified, still meet the eligibility criteria for social grants.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>SASSA says grant reviews are carried out every month and affected beneficiaries are notified and requested to report to their nearest SASSA office.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>SASSA spokesperson Andile Tshona, \u201cWe encourage our beneficiaries when they are called to come to the SASSA offices to come immediately so that they don\u2019t get inconvenienced by their grant being stopped up until they come.
