Ugandan opposition leader, Robert Chakulanyi well known as Bobi Wine has temporarily left the country after spending nearly two months in hiding.<\/div>\n

In a video on social media, he said he was travelling abroad for what he called “critical engagements”, though he didn’t reveal details.<\/div>\n

The five-minute video message on X was Wine’s first public appearance in weeks.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He says he fled his home in Kampala after security forces raided it following January’s election, which he claims was rigged in favour of longtime President Yoweri Museveni.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Wine he has now left Uganda, promising to return to continue his political struggle.<\/div>\n
