Guinea will cut bauxite export volumes by early April to support \u200cprices and shield smaller producers, its Mines Minister said this Wednesday, as weak Chinese demand and rising shipping costs squeeze the world\u2019s top supplier of the aluminium feedstock.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not really a quota, but we \u200bwill reduce the volumes we export,\u201d Mines Minister Bouna Sylla told Reuters, ruling out \u200ban export ban.<\/p>\n
