The event is held under the theme \u201cFinancing Africa\u2019s Recovery\u201d.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>President of the Black Management Forum (BMF), Mpho Motsei, says the organisation\u2019s role is rooted in advancing transformation and inclusive economic participation.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Motsei says:\u201cThe BMF is a socio-economic transformation organisation, now celebrating its 50th anniversary. Our mandate is to push the agenda of transformation across the continent and in SA, focusing on inclusive economic opportunities for black people.\u201d<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>He says the organisation\u2019s partnership with the summit aligns with its broader mission.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Motsei says, \u201cAfrica Matters is a credible continental platform shaping conversations around economic transformation, governance, youth leadership, and investment. This aligns with our commitment to ethical leadership, economic inclusion, and institutional transformation.\u201d<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Motsei adds that the forum\u2019s sponsorship of one of the panels is focused on practical solutions, \u201cFor us, panel three is important because it focuses on actionable and practical ways to address Africa\u2019s challenges. It is not just about policy discussions, but about finding solutions that can be implemented.\u201d<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>He emphasised the importance of ethical leadership in ensuring meaningful impact. \u201cYou need ethical leaders to manage resources effectively. Investors want credible leadership that ensures accountability and transparency. Without ethical leadership, implementation becomes difficult, &#8221; says Motsei.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Motsei says the summit must go beyond discussions and deliver tangible outcomes. He also highlighted the importance of collaboration among stakeholders.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cWe do not want this to be just a talk shop. We want real takeaways, including research and solutions that can be implemented and shared across the continent. This summit brings together policymakers, financiers, ambassadors, and civil society from across Africa.
