South Africa\u2019s (SA) Women\u2019s Sevens player Zintle Mpupha says the women\u2019s game has improved a lot over the years, thanks to better structures and more support from South African Rugby Union.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Mpupha says things have changed since she first joined the system in 2013, with more opportunities now available for female players.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
She recently played alongside Eloise Webb for the Isuzu Bulls Daisies and Sanlam Boland Dames in the Pick n Pay Women\u2019s Super League final in Pretoria. Both players have now been called up again to the national Sevens squad for the HSBC SVNS World Championship in Hong Kong next weekend.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Mpupha says stronger systems are helping players focus more on playing rugby instead of worrying about basic challenges.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cThe system is in a good place,\u201d she said. \u201cWe have produced a lot of what we were meant to produce. Now the pressure is off, and we can just enjoy our rugby.\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
She added that improved competitions and clearer development pathways are starting to make a real difference in the women\u2019s game.<\/p>\n
