Mohamed Salah, Liverpool\u2019s talismanic winger, will head Egypt\u2019s final squad for the \u200b2026 World Cup in North America next \u200cmonth, coach Hossam Hassan said this Saturday.<\/p>\n
The squad lineup featured few surprises, except for the inclusion of rising striker \u200bHamza Abdel Karim. The 18-year-old is on \u200bloan from Egyptian giants Al Ahly to Barcelona \u2060Atletic, the reserve side of the La \u200bLiga champions.<\/p>\n
Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush, who scored eight \u200bgoals in 36 appearances for his club this season, is expected to lead Egypt\u2019s attack in the tournament.<\/p>\n
Egypt will begin \u200btheir World Cup campaign against Belgium on \u200bJune 15 in Seattle as part of Group G, which also \u200cincludes \u2060New Zealand and Iran.<\/p>\n
The team will play their final friendly match against Brazil on June 6 in Ohio.<\/p>\n
