The industry says foreign visitors\u2019 spending reached an all-time high of R19 billion ($1.2 million). It says the visitors and their spending contributed to over 106 000 jobs.<\/p>\n<p>Member of the Mayoral Committee for Economic Growth and Tourism, James Vos, says tourism is one of the most powerful tools for job creation and contributes greatly to economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>Data that Airports Company SA has released shows a record 11 million two-way passenger flights in 2025, with over three million two-way international passengers passing through the airport\u2019s international terminal.
