{"id":38397,"date":"2026-06-30T10:08:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T08:08:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.channelafrica.co.za\/channelafrica\/?post_type=news&#038;p=38397"},"modified":"2026-06-30T10:08:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T08:08:09","slug":"bma-officials-deployed-to-assist-with-processing-deportation","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.channelafrica.co.za\/channelafrica\/news\/bma-officials-deployed-to-assist-with-processing-deportation\/","title":{"rendered":"BMA officials deployed to assist with processing, deportation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More than 150 buses transporting Malawian, Zimbabwean and Zambian migrants are expected to pass through the Beitbridge Border Post in Musina, Limpopo province.<\/p>\n<p>Border Management Authority (BMA) Assistant Commissioner Doctor Nkhuliseni Luvhengo says additional immigration officers and border guards from nearby ports of entry have been deployed to assist with processing and deportation procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Luvhengo says several buses were processed and cleared to cross into Zimbabwe on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Luvhengo says, \u201cWe are ready to process them, the only thing that could be a challenge, but we are trying to manage that is the management of the corridor. There are trucks that are obviously on the queue as long as eight kilometres, so we will be managing that so that we avoid a situation where the buses that are supposed to come this side are blocked because of the trucks that are on the way.
