{"id":38506,"date":"2026-07-01T12:34:47","date_gmt":"2026-07-01T10:34:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.channelafrica.co.za\/channelafrica\/?post_type=news&#038;p=38506"},"modified":"2026-07-01T12:34:47","modified_gmt":"2026-07-01T10:34:47","slug":"sa-border-security-back-in-focus","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.channelafrica.co.za\/channelafrica\/news\/sa-border-security-back-in-focus\/","title":{"rendered":"SA border security back in focus"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The nationwide protests against undocumented immigration in South Africa (SA), has brought back to the spotlight concerns around the country&#8217;s porous land borders.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Hundreds of thousands of SA citizens took to the streets on Tuesday, protesting against undocumented immigration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">As the national government continues to ramp up efforts to resolve the problem, some North West Province residents have expressed concern over security measures at ports of entry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">SA continues to grapple with undocumented immigration.
