This decision gives Infantino the weight of one of FIFA&#8217;s largest voting blocs, with Africa&#8217;s influence expected to be decisive on the election trail.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Under his leadership, FIFA has expanded World Cup places for African teams and boosted development funding across the continent.
