The race was won by fellow Kenyan Agnes Ngetich, who secured a world lead and a personal best time of 8:08.95.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time the world 1500m champion has faced a difficult outing. She previously missed out on the podium at the 2017 World Cross Country Championships in Kampala, Uganda, where she finished sixth in the senior women&#8217;s 10km with a time of 32:49.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Her recent setback in Monaco notwithstanding, Kipyegon insists she is not done yet.
