Pope said.

During the visit, Pope held discussions with Prime Minister Dr Justin Nsengiyumva, government officials, development partners, United Nations representatives and migrants supported by IOM programmes.

Pope said the discussions focused on labour mobility, skills development, diaspora engagement and protection mechanisms that can support both migrants and national development objectives. “I was grateful for the opportunity to engage with Prime Minister Dr Justin Nsengiyumva and other leaders to discuss how labour mobility, skills development, diaspora engagement and protection can help people while supporting national and regional priorities,”
