The session focused on solidifying a unified African position ahead of the COP31 summit in Turkey and the subsequent COP32 gathering hosted in Ethiopia in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Reinforcing the call for equity, African Union Commission Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf highlighted that the continent continues to bear a disproportionate share of global climate impacts despite generating minimal emissions.
