The central bank had previously issued public directives warning against the physical misuse, spraying, or mutilation of legal tender.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Ghana Cedi is a legal tender of the Republic of Ghana and must be treated with respect.
