At least three people, including a Malawian, a Tanzanian, and a Mozambican child, lost their lives, while more than 40 passengers were rescued by emergency teams and local fishermen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The MV Chambo serves as a vital cross-border transport link connecting Mozambique, Tanzania, and Malawi\u2019s isolated Likoma and Chizumulu islands.
