The funding builds on ongoing joint initiatives that have already deployed 10 mobile laboratories and trained over 500 laboratory experts and 80 frontline specialists to handle infectious disease outbreaks across the bloc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to health security, Berlin committed between \u20ac3 million and \u20ac5 million ($3.3 million to $5.4 million) to co-finance a regional climate project.
