The restrictions were \u200bextended to US citizens in July.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The new CDC order takes \u200beffect November 3 and requires all US-bound airline passengers to file digital or paper attestations.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Airlines for America, which represents United Airlines, American Airlines, Southwest \u200bAirlines and Delta Air Lines did not immediately comment.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The CDC \u200bis holding briefing calls with major US and foreign airlines on Friday to \u200cdetail \u2060how carriers should comply with the new requirements.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>As part of the Ebola measures, the CDC since earlier this year has also barred foreign nationals from the US if they have been \u200bin Uganda or \u200bSouth Sudan \u2060in the prior three weeks.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Bundibugyo strain of the virus spread undetected for months before the \u200boutbreak was declared in May.
