The African Union (AU) Commission, the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC), and the League of Arab States have issued a joint call for an immediate and unconditional end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory, demanding a full withdrawal to secure regional stability.<\/p>\n

The joint declaration followed consultative meeting held at the AU headquarters in Addis Ababa, bringing together representatives from the three multilateral organisations to evaluate escalating developments concerning the Palestinian cause.<\/p>\n

In their formal communique, the organisations reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to advancing practical steps toward the implementation of the two-state solution. They emphasized that sustainable peace in the Middle East requires the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state along the 4 June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in strict adherence to international law and relevant United Nations (UN) resolutions.<\/p>\n

The participating bodies also expressed strong support for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, condemning ongoing measures that target the agency’s operational mandate.<\/p>\n
